The Cut Above-Masonville Mall

I haven't gotten my hair done at a salon since I was a kid my cousin's been cutting my hair, but she had to stop recently. So I asked a friend and she recommended The Cut Above. I have no regrets. Emily cut and styled my hair. She did a great job even though I felt I was a bit vague with my answers about what I wanted. I showed her pictures of what I liked and she figured me out right away. !! I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Cut Above and working with stylist Shadi, and I cannot recommend them highly enough! From the moment I walked through the door, I felt welcomed and at ease. The entire staff is incredibly friendly and professional, and the environment is warm, inviting, and healthy. Shadi was an absolute dream to work with. He listened carefully to my desires and concerns, and worked closely with me to achieve the perfect look I had been dreaming of for ages. He was incredibly knowledgeable and skilled, and I felt completely safe and confident in his hands. He also took great care to ensure that the integrity of my hair was protected throughout the process, and even made a plan for moving forward that would keep my hair healthy and looking great. But what really set The Cut Above apart for me was the people. Not only was Shadi an amazing stylist, but all of the clients I encountered were warm and friendly, and the entire environment was uplifting and positive. I left feeling not only beautiful, but also surrounded by a community of wonderful people. Overall, my experience at The Cut Above with Shadi was nothing short of amazing.
