I am absolutely thrilled with the waterfall pond installed by Ty and his team. Both the front and backyard renovations were skillfully designed. There were a few communication hiccups but overall, the project was professionally completed in a timely manner with minimal disruptions. My backyard is truly a sanctuary now!

We worked with Tydan on a fairly extensive project to design and install landscaping for a new home build. The quality of workmanship and attention to detail is second to none. They ensured that everything was completed to our satisfaction, and the job site was always cleaned at the end of every day. Tydan was very accommodating and came up with solutions when unexpected situations arose. We are certain that we will be able to enjoy the landscaping without issues for many years to come. We completely renovated our backyard this summer. Tydan was the company we chose to conduct the renovations, and we couldn't be happier with the finished product. We replaced the fence, the patio and the deck as well as had them waterproof our foundation, install proper drainage for the new patio and regrade the yard. We also added an in-ground pool which was installed by Simplii Pools London Inc. who Tydan introduced us to. At the end of the day, the finished product is stunning. The interlocking patio especially really shows the quality and pride they put into their work. Despite them having to match it to different level surfaces and elevations, and integrate the infloor drain, there is not an edge or a lip to catch your foot on in the nearly 2000sq feet installed by the house, garage or around the pool They put so much work into the site prep and gravel bases that I know that this patio will stay looking this great for a long time to come. The deck looks exquisite as well, the long composite boards put down give it a nice classy look, and having watched them build the foundation, that deck will out live me. The vinyl fence is straight and level and will really set off the gardens we install next spring, which Tydan has prepped and mulched for us. Paul leads the business side and gets things organized and he really knows his stuff. If there was one thing I would change looking back on the project it would have been during the planning stages I would have pressed him to include allowances in the original contract for overages and extras, but overall he was still within 15% of the contract price which, given how much material prices have been shifting over this year, and how many variables there are on a project of this scale is an achievement (we ended up shifting the pool around which caused them to have to change the patio design as well leading to much of the overages). Our actual work crew was led by his son Tyler, and Tyler is really the star of the company. He knows this work like the back of his hand and on top of that is really approachable and friendly. I work from home, so was able to monitor the progress closely, and Tyler was always receptive to any questions concerns or ideas I had, and in the end I think it was his ability both as a tradesman but also his people skills that really lead to the success of this project. The rest of his crew was also really friendly and nice as well. Shout out to Carl the hard-scaping expert. Tydan uses high quality finishes and complements them with high quality work. At the end of the day this was not a cheap backyard renovation, but it is one that will last for as long as we own this home and more, and, given that fact, we are thrilled with the result and can't wait to enjoy a full summer in our backyard oasis next year. We have the best backyard in the neighbourhood thanks to Tydan. We obtained Tydans services to recreate a backyard environment for us including new patio, shed, eaves and landscaping. Patiently we awaited quotes and design plans. Quotes were provided sporadically and were estimates only. Not set quotes including taxes. Even though thorough measurements were taken. We had a huge discomfort committing to work without a set quote and specifications. Not only were the quotes open ended but were high end despite our acceptance that this was during the pandemic when costs were higher and labour was limited. We met with the staff to express this concern but were met with indifference. Our designs were eventually provided but still did not include set quotes or neither included everything we had asked for. In the end we had to pay for the designs but backed out of the relationship and found that we fared much better utilizing individual contractors who provided set quotes on the spot. We contacted Tydan due to past reviews.however our experience did not leave us comfortable with proceeding with their services. We will always only deal with contractors who can place a full quote in writing. We actually saved more money in the end even though we approached each project individually so I would wholeheartedly recommend that you comparison shop.
