Student Works Painting

This company is prime example of a company taking advantage of young students for their own benefit. They mislead students to sign up for them and then blackmail them into resigning with them. Businesses like this need to be shamed and disconnected from universities so they can not take advantage of any more students. I have contacted my local MP about this horrible business and I hope they take action. Note that if you hire them for work you are enabling them to take advantage of young students. Patrick, Helen and the team should be ashamed of yourself.

I'm a tax filer and I've filed taxes for some of student works staff. Stay away. They abuse and misuse students for their own profits. They hold HST from contractors to get them to do as per management while the staff pay interest to CRA on the HST dues. The main management is the one making money and their using this "student works" name to dupe you into thinking you're hiring students. No you're helping fill the pocket of the greedy management that pressures kids to sign contracts and non compete contracts without any option for legal review. This company is not to be trusted. Buyers beware.

DO NOT hire these people, they dont pay their student workers. Come up with excuses after excuses. These kids work hard. Tycho is the biggest con artist. Stay away.

Student works, led by Beryl in Kitchener, ultimately did a great job. Beryl himself was the consummate professional, and with a few initial glitches (his team seemed a bit inexperienced and I heard him admonishing them more than once after I complained) and his oversight, everything was done perfectly. I would highly recommend Beryl in particular.
