Despite having eight tellers, the wait times are consistently long, and this is particularly true during morning hours when queues are long and staff numbers seem limited. It's not uncommon for staff to make time-consuming errors. Further complicating matters, I've experienced multiple instances where appointments, even for routine processes like opening new accounts, were cancelled last minute by the staff due to their lack of certainty on how to complete the tasks. I've often been passed from one representative to another without any resolution. Despite leaving several voicemails, my calls have gone unreturned. For now, the inconvenience of migrating my existing accounts and services to another bank has kept me from switching completely. However, my recent experiences have led me to open new accounts and services at other banks instead of here. Also, it's worth noting that these issues aren't exclusive to this location. I've encountered similar problems at their branch near Etobicoke, where appointments were equally prone to last-minute cancellations. If you're considering this bank, I'd recommend exploring other options and comparing service fees for the services you require. In my experience, the high fees charged by RBC do not match the level of service provided.
