Virtu Hair Imaging salon

I booked an appointment for Saturday at 10am. When I got there it was clear they werent expecting me, and tried to make it seem like I didnt have an appointment. I had to show them in their own appointment book, and they asked me to take a seat. I left after 20 minutes. As I got my jacket on the hair stylist working on a client said to me it will be 10 more minutes and seemed surprised as I made my way to the door asking if I was planning to come back. The thing is, if they had been honest with me I would have been ok to reschedule, but it was the lack of communication that made me feel they didnt value my time.

I had my hair cut and washed here for the first time . I had just moved to the area this past year and had gotten a flyer in the mail for the salon . The lady who cut my hair said I had really bad hair and that it was weak,frizzy and dry. A typical work day for me is 5am-8pm and I do not normally have time to take care of myself so this was supposed to be a treat to myself and then I came here to be insulted? Not off to a great start but I tried to stay positive. I mentioned I wanted long layers and a few face framing pieces and about 2-3 inches off I am getting married in September and had spent the past year growing out my hair and just wanted a small trim of 2-3 inches ( I had waist length hair) She cut 6-9 inches which was not what I wanted as I had spent the last year growing out my hair for my wedding. My hair is will now be ruined and not grow out long enough by the time I have my wedding In addition about and hour later my head/scalp was extremely itchy and I had to wash my head again to try to get the itching to stop. I am not malicious person but this was very poor experience. I do not recommend. Avoid this salon. Service: Shampoo & conditioning
