I went in to get a $9 haircut (with coupon) and wasn't disappointed. The prices are reasonable, the salon is clean and she didn't try to upsell me too agressively (something I really hate about most places).

I received a flyer about the grand opening special for haircut of $9.00. So I went and give it a try. I wanted to cut a style and was told the cost is $15.00. I agreed but I just got a trim to tidy the unevenness of my hair. A pair of thinner scissors was used and again I am getting the uneven lengths. The final result is I am still having the same old style with only 1/2 an inch shorter. I would think that this is only a trim. After wetting my hair to cut, I was asked if I want to dry my hair. The question was redundant. My thought was they were going to charge me extra for drying my hair. I was told that if I want to blow dry a style they will charge me $25.00. So don't be misled by the "SPECIAL" price for a hair cut of $9.00. You will land up paying much more with HST.
