We moved all of our banking services including our mortgage to Ukrainian Credit Union and honestly this is the best banking experience since we came to Canada 35 years ago. Nataliya Ryabchun loan officer from the Mississauga location is the Lady who helped us with everything Shes so knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything in detail and saved us a lot of money. We are very happy with the decision to move to Ukrainian Credit Union. Thank You Nataliya and all the staff, You guys are awesome. We are customers for life 100%

You think that as a guarantor on a line of credit which is registered against your home you have the right to know the outstanding amount of the debt, right? Wrong! Not at the Ukrainian Credit Union. At least not at this branch. When my client told me that she could not get any information on the two lines of credit of which she was a guarantor and her spouse was the borrower, and which LOCs were registered against their family home, I did not believe her. After all, I am a reasonable person and a lawyer. I attended with her at the branch. To my complete shock, she was not provided this information. Imagine you want to urgently pay out the loan on which you are a guarantor and want to close it, but you cannot do it because you do not know how much is outstanding. She was advised to contact the head office, which MAYBE will provide this information. Meanwhile, just recently, she received a letter from this bank demanding different documents related to the LOC, without mentioning how much is outstanding. As such, as a guarantor, you will have tons of responsibilities, but no rights! That is why I would never recommend this bank for any loans, whether as a principal borrower or a guarantor.
