Very pleased with our renovated kitchen/dining and entry area. Studiokimi was easy to work with and very responsive. Kookdo listened to what our challenges were and designed a better space, taking us step by step through the process. Contractors used were all very professional and friendly. We purchased our home at the end of 2021 and knew that we wanted some renovations done. We didn't have a contractor that we generally worked with so we began an online search. Our initial interest in working with Kookdo was his design eye which was evident in the quality of the work that he had completed for others. Kookdo redesigned our kitchen, mudroom, and entryway tiles that ran throughout the main floor. He worked with suppliers to source quality products and included us in those discussions and face-to-face meetings. He was available every step of the way and was flexible with any changes we requested during the process. Our kitchen renovation began in December 2021, during the height of supply shortages and global shutdowns but he managed to prioritize our work. The kitchen turned out beautifully, better than we could have imagined. It's become the hub of our home and the most complimented by visitors. I was very happy with the quality of work and level of detail that Kookdo provided so we scoped out another project within the house. Kookdo worked with us to re-design our basement bathroom to accommodate a walk-in sauna. He has a team of trades that he works with that looked after all the different facets of construction (ie. plumbing, electrical, drywall, etc.). The end product turned out spectacular and the sauna gets a lot of use. Overall, it was a great experience working with Kookdo and his team. His pricing was competitive compared with others but the real value-add was having a General contractor that is also an Interior designer. That combination leads to a beautiful end product with quality craftsmanship. I would definitely recommend him, and I look forward to working with him on future renovation projects.
