The owner or this company called me and threatened me that he would be using my personal information illegally and without my consent. His name is Ganni and I have it on audio recording which I will be forwarding to the Peel Police.
Let me start off by saying horrible horrible service. If I could give this location no stars, I would! Let me start off by saying I have an dudham address on my drivers license (my parents house) and recently moved to caledon (with my in laws because its closer to work). I first called this location spoke with Lovepreet and explained the situation with my address. I advised them I had a Bell bill as well with the current address but the bill was dated for April of this year and they told me to come on Sunday and speak with a lady named Fatima.
I came in provided my information and paperwork and again explained the situation to Fatima. She understood the address situation and wanted me to print out the most recent paystubs which I was able to do from my work computer. She wanted her boss to look over my paystubs so she told me to call back tomorrow. Weird but okay, thanks for making me drive all the way in the snow. I called back in the morning and spoke with Fatima again and she said her boss said no on the basis that I dont live in the area. It was clear they were just giving me excuses but I was tired of the run around. If you were going to reject me do it before I provide you with my personal information. So I told them Id be leaving a google review on the company and the service thus far. Fatima at this point insisted I speak with the owner. I myself didnt find any reason to as even if they changed their mind I wouldnt be using their services. So I told her have a nice day and hung up.
10 mins later a man name Ganni called me explaining he was the owner of the store. He wanted to I guess clarify why he was rejecting my application and then his tone changed. He started saying I have all your information, I am going to call your car insurance company and let them know you didnt change your address (if he allowed me to explain he would understand durham is my primary address). He also said I have your sin number you want to play games I can play games. Welp Ganni if your reading this, I forwarded everything to Peel police. Have fun explaining yourself, to them.
I dont usually do a payday loan but given that inflation is through the roof, gas and living expenses keep piling on and christmas is around the corner I was short on funds. I guess I should have gone to a reputable company.
