Gustavo has terrible case 'payment anxiety', a habit of wanting full payment before the job is done and we had a disagreement on this issue. His solution was to steal materials from my site. I threatened to involve the police and shortly thereafter the materials were delivered back and he blamed one of his guys for this "misunderstanding". He is a hot head, I've known him to break vendors windows due to another payment issue and police being showing up to his house. If you want a guy to talk your ear off about how good he is then he's you man, if you want a professional, look elsewhere.

When we arrived in Toronto we were looking for a company of wood construction and furniture. As we had not yet mastered the English language (we are Brazilian) we received referral from some friends and went to meet. From the beginning their service was very impeccable and a lot of patience with our language. The prices were well adapted to our reality. The projects were a separate piece of work. no inch out of place. We wonder how perfect it will be when we can build an entire house with them. highly recommended

I have had the distinct pleasure of having GA Carpentry work on my new home. The renovation includes increasing door frames from standard height to 96, poplar casings, jambs, baseboards, shoe moulds, backband, etc. The home is a good size, with a lot of moving parts. We had to coordinate different trades (electricians, tapers, painters, etc.) through the last 2 weeks. Gustavo and team have been nothing short of phenomenal. They are passionate about their craft and have a keen eye to detail. Ive been fortunate having found them to take on my job. We are on a very tight timeline, as school starts in September, and so far, everything has been on track per Gustavos timeline. We did encounter some issues (as any reno would), but the problem solving and solutions-oriented approach of the team is to be commended. If you want the best carpentry work in the GTA (and trust me, Ive used a few companies in the past!), look no further. I would HIGHLY recommend this team of professionals. They are masters at their craft and everyone that comes to our home and has seen the work in progress has said the work is incredible.
