This company has been building a detached house on McRae Drive between Airdrie Road and Rumsey Road in Leaside, Toronto for the past couple of years. I live around the corner on Airdrie. The site is one of the messiest I've ever seen. I'm tired of having to walk through a sea of mud on the sidewalk in front of the house. They never clean this up and it can be quite slippery at times. I've now stopped walking my dog on this route as I'm fed up with muddy paws. I'm sure people heading to work and using the nearby bus stop are not thrilled to have muddy shoes. The sidewalk is also often obstructed by vehicles or the fence being left open. This impedes those with disabilities, including a blind neighbour and others with walking aids. Time to clean up your act, Avesta. I wrote the above review in January 2020. Now in May 2020, not much has changed. More work has been done on the house and some of the garbage behind the chainlink fence has been cleared up. My dog has since died but the sidewalk is even worse. It's still covered in mud and there is quite a mound there which would make it very difficult for people who have to use walkers, or push strollers, bikes etc. or anybody with visual or other impairments. I'd report this to the city but I think they have enough to worry about these days. IT'S WAY OVER TIME TO CLEAN UP YOUR ACT, AVESTA!
