        Spoke to Sergio about cancelling 2 homeowners policies for my mother due to lack of competitiveness. Predictiably he then offered me a policy that was about $1,000.00 less than my renewal. Obviously I was not impressed as we were overpaying all these years. Deerborne was comfortable letting an 85-year old pay more than they should rather than shop it around each year as a broker should. When I asked to cancel, he then suggested that my new broker provide me with the cancellation form required to cancel the policy that I have through Deerborne. I asked for a confirmation that the letter to cancel was received, and no reply. Great customer service, you be the judge.
