If I could rate zero I would. I waited from July 5 for my number to port. I was told would take 90 min but 5 days later I find out Freedom messed up and assigned my number to another customer! This after I told them it's critical that if I switch from Rogers that I MUST keep my number. I followed up every day for the status on the port. I got the run around and the usual not done yet, we are working on it, it's escalated to porting team, we need another 24 hours, etc. Fed up from getting the run around I call my number and a man answers! He tells me he was just assigned my number a few hours ago!!! This happen July 10! So it was not only assigned to another customer but I'm now told there is nothing they can do about it so I can't get it back and I won't get a refund if I cancel because I don't want to do business with Freedom anymore. They can't resolve the mess they made and give me back my number because it's now been registered to another customer. That's the reason I got! Take it back from that customer. They were only assigned it one day, I had that number for years. They don't care how inconvenienced I am now without the number I have had for years! Do not trust Freedom, they have no credibility and are incompetent and dishonest. They will continue to lie to you and string you along hoping you will just go away. Unbelievable. If you don't want to lose your number, don't ever switch to Freedom. STAY AWAY from this provider or lose your number if you try to port it.
