Aspen Oral Surgery

Wisdom teeth extraction went great. The customer service was great while I was there, and the staff made me comfortable and well-supported. However, I wish I had been warned about possible depressive symptoms that are relatively common to experience days after wisdom teeth removal due to the use of anesthesia. I made it known that I have struggled with depression, but it was not mentioned that I may experience increased/severe symptoms after the surgery. Just for context, I have not experienced symptoms of depression for the past 6 months. I called the office to let them know about this. I did not call to complain, I only called to ask if they could let future patients know about this possibility. The woman I spoke with told me that they have never had a patient experience this. She also told me that my depressive spell was due to "anxiety present before the surgery." I never mentioned experiencing this. I noted that there is research to prove that symptoms of depression can arise for days, weeks, or months after surgery (I found this out after the fact), and she did not acknowledge this information. She said it is uncommon for this to happen. Again, research says otherwise. It is actually quite common. Please let patients know about this possibility. A warning is always nice.

I'm very greatful with Dr. Cloutlier and his staff. I had never been put to sleep and was nervous about having my wisdom teeth removed. Dr. Cloutlier was professional and caring. The anesthetist was kind and explained to us the process. The assistant was caring and helped relax before the surgery began. My recovery has been quick and almost painless, therefore I would highly recommend Dr. Cloutlier and his staff. They did and excellent job. Eunice Camacho

Absolute professionalism. I had a complicated extraction that needed sedation - everything explained well, virtually no pain post procedure and has healed perfectly. Doctor Cloutier followed up by text on the weekend to check everything was ok. Above and beyond.

Just finished getting my wisdom teeth removed at Aspen Oral Surgery. Very kind and organized admin staff, clean facility and trustworthy team of doctors. my recovery was quick and required minimal pain

I was extremely nervous about my tooth implant after a traumatizing incident with another surgeon, but Dr. Cloutier and the entire team at Aspen were so patient and understanding of my situation. Before the surgery he took the time to walk me through every detail so that I knew exactly what to expect. During the procedure he would stop periodically to ask how I was doing and if I needed a break and never rushed me. I am so grateful to have found Dr. Cloutier and the team at Aspen Oral Surgery and would highly recommend them, especially if you are nervous or have kids who are nervous about dental procedures.
