Dr. Osama renewed my faith in dental care in Ontario. We are so grateful to have found him. When we found out we had a need for surgical care beyond a conventional dentist, we were honestly terrified. His compassion, empathy and kindness as well as his open-mindedness and ability to laymenize medical information visually, and taking the time to address every possible concern caringly, is what put our family's experience at ease. He made us feel that he had all the time in the world for us, never rushed and always in good hands. He is a Godsend for children and parents alike. He is reassuring and calming because he really has the patient's best interest in mind. For example, myself a layman in dentistry, I inquired if it could be possible to try the surgery a less invasive way. He actually took the time to consult his colleagues and phone me back one evening after looking into it. In the end the surgery was an amazing success. He even taught us how to do mobilizations to try to avoid future surgical intervention. And it worked! It is obviously important to him that patients feel empowered, trust and that they are making educated decisions. You can even sense his patient care excellence the moment you walk in his practice, in the atmosphere he has built for patient experience. You instantly get the sense that it is important that his patients feel at ease. Dr. Os, you would do well to teach in medical colleges, how to infuse core values through to patient care, for optimal outcomes! Truly grateful for who you are, what you do and how much you helped our family.
