Have brought my car here several times. The last 3 of my visits was to figure out a mysterious rattle. Each time I brought my car in, it's always there for about 3 days, sometimes longer (despite making an appt ahead of time). And I'm always the one to phone in to check its status, never the other way around. I definitely agree with other reviews; they are not the greatest communicators. They also need to figure out a system to notify employees when someone is at the front. People are always standing around waiting forever until someone comes out to check. Anyway, the reason for the review is because during my last 3 visits of trying to fix this rattle, each time they fixed other items that they perceived to be the issue, only for me to have to come back with the same issue a third time. Over 900$ later ($761 + 261$ for 2 visits) after labour and parts, the rattle was still there. So on the third visit, they didn't charge me, and Pedro said the issue was fixed. Nice of them not to charge me, but Pedro didn't have the greatest attitude when I went to pick up the car. The rattle was gone for a few weeks, but is now back again. I've tried calling this garage several times, but they never pick up their phone. Better to just eat the costs and get it fixed elsewhere properly.

Legacy Auto staff were nothing but super accommodating. Offering a loaner as I needed to work, keeping me updated of the issues they found as the work was being done, and even allowing minor adjustments to an alignment issue that was reoccurring. The alignment was not a fault of their own, and was a manufacturing defect. Many issues with the dealership were addressed by Sean and the other Techs working on my vehicle. Multiple vehicles taken to them over the years, and a few purchases as well. Thanks guys, Keep it up! Services: Engine repair, Auto maintenance, Tires, Wheel alignment, Electrical, Vehicle Inspection

Brought them a tricky problem, my older Prius V that was exhibiting symptoms of a head gasket failure (known issue with higher mileage Prius). Dealer tried to take me down the road of trial and error troubleshooting (injector cleaning, Throttle body cleaning, coil pack change, etc) which would have been very expensive. Legacy did a proper diagnoses, quoted me a price with the caveat they would need the vehicle for weeks which I was OK with. Head gasket replacement on this vehicle is a tricky, finicky, complicated PITA of a job. Work was completed with a small cost overrun (nothing like the dealer cost). It has been 2 months and ~3000km without issue. Back to getting 5L/100km which is appreciated these days. Service: Engine repair

My review the other day would have been one star had I not gone to the shop today and talked to the main tech Pedro. Pedro is a very polite and well mannered young man who I hope opens his own shop one day. My experience with Legacy was not the greatest as Sean assumed another tech -from another shop- was giving me updates on my repairs. Although the tech gave him my contact information to give me updates. I had called Sean on more than one occasion and left more than one message the most recent being today around 3:40pm. I took it upon myself to go to the shop in person and to my luck the two techs were still on site and Pedro helped me. Sean needs to work on his communication and actually contact the people who contact him. I was told my repair would be done last Tuesday, if issues arise the owner should be notified, be it a tech being off sick or a part not coming in on time. I was given nothing but radio silence. I would recommend getting a receptionist to handle this issue. Thank you again to Pedro for being so kind and understanding and helping me with bringing my car home today! I really do believe you would do a wonderful job owning your own shop!
