Takaki Automotive

Read multiple good reviews over on Reddit. Brought my 6 year old Toyota here for a tricky repair. Found out that the people at Takaki are indeed honest, skilled, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced! My new go-to mechanical shop.

These are solid honest people doing a good job. I have been here three times and never been disappointed. They check what you ask them to check and come up with solutions and give you options. They also do a general check of your vehicle and find things you should be looking out for. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a repair shop regardless of the make and model. They are definitely worth checking out. It is also a very convenient location right near Bayview station so you can get to work after dropping the car off.

Ive been going to Takaki Automotive for the last 45 years, first when Kunio Takaki was running the business and now with his two sons. I have never in all that time had anything other than exemplary service for me and for my various cars a number of which were old and challenging to work on. Skill, value and honesty are words I would use to describe the business and everyone who works there, mechanics and support staff. Highly recommended.
