Sam responded very quickly. We were without water, our kitchen faucet was leaking, and it was after hours. He arrived within an hour. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and extremely pleasant. He fixed our issue after explaining the cost upfront. The area was kept clean, and once he left, you would never know we had any issue at all. Payment was also very easy. We were provided with a detailed invoice as well as photos. We are extremely pleased with this service. We would highly recommend Sam, and this company to anyone. Thanks Sam!! I cannot stress enough, you should avoid this company at all costs. This is the first google review Ive written, because of how offensive this company is. Sam, their technician came to replace a kitchen faucet. My girlfriend was home to meet him for the work. Sam stated the faucet needed replacing, went to the plumbing supplier for a replacement and returned to install it. Total service time one hour: bill total $995.53. I called Boone plumbing for that exact faucet cost: $400. Given an up-charge of 20%, this means it cost maybe $480. I wanted to understand where the additional cost came from so I called Sam to ask for the breakdown, as the bill did not list cost of parts nor labour (see photo). Sam refused to breakdown the cost. He said he was part owner but had no idea what his hourly rate was; he gets his pricing from the pricing book - an excel document which simply states the words pull down beside the price of $881 (see photo). I asked again for a cost breakdown for parts and labour - he insisted there is no way. After 25 minutes he stated that I need to be considerate of his advertising costs, that there are pandemic losses and that they dont work like other plumbing companies. I explained that while I appreciate the costs of running a business, I was owed an explanation for my bill. He insisted I did not understand, but since my father is a plumber (lives elsewhere) I surely do. Ive included photos of what he proceeded to text me. In summary, instead of a proper bill I received excuses and blame of not understanding plumbing or trades and that I should not be asking for a proper cost breakdown. If Sam could have given an accurate cost breakdown, we would have been fine however, this conduct is taking advantage of the average customer who knows no better. When our basement started to flood due to our sump pump falling, they were on site within the hour of our call. They were thorough, efficient, friendly, and were very careful to explain everything they were doing. It was extremely reassuring at a stressful time, and they have very reasonable rates.
