Their property at 360 Dundas is infested with cockroaches and the landlords do the bare minimum to address it. Avoid this place at all costs.

Even though they said they were going to send lease agreement regarding the unit that I viewed, next day they said that unit was rented. They are very unprofessional. Also couple weeks ago i saw a rental flat ad. I asked through facebook they said it was in renovated, i called their office next day they said that flat is rented already. I wrote Facebook again and they said give us a call in 10min. I havent seen any unprofessional, bungler people before. Their reviews shows everything. Stay away them

My experience with City Wide has been very good. To be clear, the buildings that they manage are older, and therefore have some natural deficiencies that one would expect - some bugs, utilities not working all the time, loud tenants and neighbours, etc... - but the Management Company does make a genuine effort to help when problems arise. When I moved in, there was an issue with my heat that lasted for about 3 weeks, and the Management refunded me the entire month's worth of rent. No argument or debate; they just did it. Another time, I identified a few bugs around my apartment and they sent someone to clean them out within 3 days... it worked very well and now the issue is resolved. So while the buildings are older, management and staff are always willing to help, which means a lot in an industry where most management just ignores you most of the time. In particular, Maliheh (Mali), at the front desk, is incredibly kind, very smart, and genuinely helpful. She is always there to help with any apartment problems, any viewing requests, payment problems, communication and the like. I recommend them to anyone who is willing to work with the management. I acknowledge it's not always perfect, but it is very, very good. Good luck, peace!

I would not recommend this company, they are either dishonest or incompetent, either of which are not good traits in a landlord. A tenant at 360 Dundas was looking to move out and was trying to do a lease transfer so he could move out before the end of his lease contract and I would take over the lease contract for the remaining 2 months. After these 2 months, the contract would then be month to month. I looked at the place and liked it, and asked the landlord (Chady, landlord with Citywide Properties) on Feb 26th for details on the parking situation before I submitted my application. I sent multiple follow up emails asking for more details on the parking situation and did not receive a response until March 14th. After finally receiving a response that a parking spot was available, I submitted my application on March 15th. After submitting my application, I followed up with Chady on March 20th and did not receive a response. I found another email at Citywide Properties via their website (not Chady as he seems to not check his email) and emailed them on April 11th asking why I was not being replied to. Chady finally got back to me on April 12th asking me to submit my application again, despite me sending it almost a month ago. At this point, I was informed the unit for lease transfer was no longer available. It would be easy to imagine that Citywide Properties did not want to do a lease transfer as it's in their best interests to let the current tenant move out at the end of his contract. This allows them to increase rental rate substantially and lock in a new renter for a full year contract.
