Paula was the realtor who listed & sold out house in Alta Vista in February, 2022. Paula was the kindest and most effective realtor we have ever dealt with - and we have dealt with realtors both buying and selling, in both the USA and Canada, many times over the decades. Before the sale, she clearly walked us through the process, documents, and implications of what we would do. She also had many valuable and simple tips to make sure the house was presented at it's most marketable - from simple cleaning, to rearranging furniture to present the rooms as more spacious, to rearranging and tidying even the cupboards to accentuate their potential. She also arranged staging of some extra elements - changing a den to a bedroom, adding lighting and art, and so on to emphasize each room's potential. Once the house was ready, she orchestrated the showings - first to agents, then to potential buyers - to occur over a single weekend to minimize impact to us. I don't know to what extent she investigated or negotiated offers, but she presented to us a superlative offer, and an overview of our options with respect to it and others. I'm convinced she was able to arrange an excellent offer, beyond what we were expecting, which we accepted. Both before and after the sale she kept in close touch, even helping locate accessories and using her own car & efforts to help us move items we were discarding. I believe she's not only an excellent realtor, but has become a good friend.
