Alton Chinese Restaurant

Great food, not too salty and I cannot detect any MSG. Yes, waitresses talk loud to each other but are never rude and quite accommodating. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The owner is very rude with bad attitude! Discriminating against people who can not speak Chinese. She made a mistake with my takeout order, instead of apologizing, she insults me for not speaking Chinese. This is CANADA and we speak ENGLISH here!

Reverse discrimination! Im a pretty easy going guy but when you screw up, you should own it. Ive been coming here for years but this meal was my last supper. My wife and I waited 45 minutes for takeout only to find out the food was sitting behind us all along. Just admit you screwed up but dont give me attitude. Dont tell me to speak Mandarin when you cant keep basic human respect for other cultures. Dont discriminate against others as a cop-out for your ineptitude. Im hopeful that the restaurant will change but doubt anything will happen if fellow customers remain silent.

Discriminates people who speak English and will judge you if you are Chinese and dont speak Mandarin or Cantonese. In fact, the owner accused my mother of not speaking fluent Mandarin even though she did.
