The ROE

POSITIVES * Peter is a phenomenal superintendent. He consistently goes above and beyond for the building and tennants. We're so lucky to have him. I'd give him 10 stars if I could. * Location. Close to everything with some great lifestyle options OPPORTUNITIES/CONCERNS * Security. There have been a number of issues with theft and break ins (mail room, storage room, bike thefts). Head office seems to just shrug their shoulders and give boiler plate responses without making meaningful changes. The mailroom is still accessable to the street leaving packages and mail boxes at continued risk. * Head office team. It's incredibly difficult to get a reply from the office team. It can take many weeks to get a reply (even after following up). The GM in particular seems to dislike speaking with any tennants or addressing their concerns. If Peter can't handle it on site, good luck! * Construction. Lots of it in the area and in the building. It's dusty, dirty, noisy. Has been for years. It's quite inconvenient.

Having lived at The Roe for over 10 years, we continue to make it our home due to the quality of the building, the pet-friendly environment and the responsiveness of the on-site staff, especially Peter; he consistently goes above and beyond.

Lived here for over a year. Peter is a fantastic superintendent who always goes over the top to make sure everything is in tip top shape.

I have been living at this building since October 2022. I want to speak specifically about Peter, the superintendent, seeing as he is the person that residents rely on when there is an issue within the building. He is kind, helpful and attentive to the needs of residents and has gone above and beyond his duties. I have lived in many other buildings, rental or owned, and there is nothing more problematic than to have a superintendant that does not care or simply does not address any issues. It is practically a nightmare when an issue arises, and there is no one that addresses it even if it is in their job description. You will not find that here because Peter actually cares about ensuring problems are resolved and that things run smoothly and effectively. This is indeed rare, so I consider myself lucky to know that Peter is just a phone call away when an issue does arise. I feel the same about Mr. Lim, the assistant superintendent. Good and hardworking people are difficult to find. This building is fortunate to have both Peter and Mr. Lim.
