    I have family that used to live at this building. Due to many ongoing issues relating to break-ins and management neglecting to provide assistance, they moved out. Sterling Karamar does not care about their residents, or the proper operation of the building facilities. The call box in the lobby is often broken and their mail got stolen frequently as well. Management doesn't care at all.

    This building needs to step up their security, my friends car was broken into and management has and is doing absolutely nothing to help. Not a safe place to live. not recommended

    I'd give 0 stars if I could. Not a safe building. Car windows get smashed, mail gets stolen, management takes weeks to provide video footage of incidents. Concierge company and security company are totally garbage.

    Management is SO slow to tend to issues. They're trying to raise the rent above guideline, yet they shut off the water on a regular basis for "repairs" and fail to provide camera footage to the police when incidents occur. Hope you've got a few thousand set aside for when someone breaks in. Happened to a few tenants already (car windows smashed on multiple vehicles). Does the building care? nope.

    Dear fellow distressed apartment hunters ! I would like to update you all on my latest TOP OF THE CAKE latest apartment search experience ... I have received a Zumper notification on an available Jr.1 bed at 35 Walmer rd. I immediately messaged to the property to request information on rental inquiry, showing, price etc., Two days passed by without a response so I decided to contact the leasing manager - Brian. I would like to ad the contact number area code (365) right from the beginning left me with hesitation and started looking into the building credentials and reviews. So, I had Brian on the phone ..I explained I sent numerous inquires without a response and he ensured me the leasing management will contact me...again, another 2 days passed by and I decide to call up Brian bc at this time, I am not wiling to waste more of my valuable time on this building slow communication process. Anyhow ..Brian said he will follow up. Shortly after our conversation I have received an email regarding to that particular unit I required about is not available but they " might will have "a comparable unit on a later date. Meanwhile , the adviser asked for my credentials , employer information and credit score ...luckily No social insurance or visa card number lol What type or rental corporation is requesting all documentations , credit score up front for an IMAGINARY unit what " might will be available " on a later date without having to have an in person showing scheduled on the unit ?! Oh, I forgot to mention - this person also asked me to register a bidding offer on a apartment unit - ridiculous lol At this point I had enough and realized I am dealing with clowns. This type of operation needs to be brought to an immediate attention to authorities and LTB matter ! I hope you all reading these reviews : NO documentation, NO credentials , NO CREDIT score REQUIRED PRIOR to schedule an appointment for viewing with a LEGIT rental corporation ! Bidding and Registering offers on an apartment rental is NOT required ! Because finding the right property rental and moving is not stressful enough - Thousands of tenants get violated , scammed during through there rental process or got scammed by their own movers ! I recommend to hire a professional real estate agent , who will guide you through the rental process and provide you with the daily rental listings : - You have to have all legal documentation on point prior to your search. If you are trying to be shady - you will attract that type of shady characters lol Good luck with your search,
