It hurts optometrists to their core not to see the patients they were trained to treat. I want to know if anyone who is calling optometrists insensitive, or tone deaf because they had had to stop seeing patients in order to get the Ministry of Health to take them seriouslycan you predict what would happen if your workplace continuously provided a product, but the buyers paid less than it cost to make the product? If the orders you fulfilled continued to grow, and you worked harder and harder, but payment was always short? Ill tell you, your employer would go out of business. You would be unemployed. Your service would cease to exist. Would you like optometrists offices to start shuttering because they cant pay the cost to perform exams on people who make up the largest portion of their patient base?
