A great little place for lunch, they serve a small doughy bread filled with a variety of items. These are known as boa and you order them individually. They are quite filling, thus likely two is enough or possibly three depending on your appetite. And they are not very expensive either. So you get a good meal for a fair price (about $6.50 each), this also allows you to get two different flavors so you get some variety. The storefront is very small but it is quick as you take it to go in their nice little cardboard boxes. Definitely a good choice for lunch if you work in the area.

The quality of the beef garnered them one more star than I would have given otherwise for that overpriced, underfilled bao I just ate. Old cilantro, limp bok choy (didnt even give me the correct filling) and peanuts and sugar nowhere to be seen. Major regrets with this snack choice.

Mean Bao was recommended by a contact and I came across one along PATH in Feb 2022. I tried the tofu curry dish and the braised meat bun. They were average for me and the sauce was too sweet.
