    I booked a space on April 18th for 43 days because I am a travel nurse and I am desperately needed in Peterborough, ON. The reservation was confirmed by the host but was cancelled by airbnb company for no good reason. When the reservation was cancelled there was also a 10 day restriction placed on my account preventing me from rebooking another space. Subsequently, I had to wait on a refund which finically restrained me from booking elsewhere. Due to your company cancelling and restricting me from re-booking I was issued an $800 USD coupon by your company for their own mistakes. Before using the coupon I asked multiple reps within your company if it was for multi use or one time use only. The rep informed me through an online chat it was for 1 time use only. Furthermore, just to confirm this , I called in and was told by another rep that it was in fact not for one time use but multi use. I subsequently booked a space for one night using a bit over 10% of the voucher. After using this voucher it became ineligible for me to use again. I called and explained all of this to another air bnb rep & they issued me a $500 USD coupon. I accepted it even though it was significantly less than the original amount I was given because of the huge financial burden placed upon me by your company. When I tried to book my stay using the coupon , air bnb cancelled my reservation for the second time and restricted me for 10 days of booking for the second time again. When I called a rep a few days ago she had explained to me that your company has been making mistakes of this nature with other accounts and advised me to deactivate and delete my account and make another one so that I may rebook another space for work. It seems to me that this company is content with making customers pay for the mistakes of their own representatives. I am deeply disappointed & dissatisfied with how poorly this has been handled. I will go above and beyond to the media & inform them this is what your company is doing to travel nurses who rely upon your service. I will definitely be mentioning this to all who use your services to see how unreliable and unhelpful the support services are.

    I've been a Host with Airbnb for 9 years. Their customer service is getting worse every year. Right now I am in a 2 week long fight to have them provide me with my rental income. I call them daily requesting my payouts be sent to me and they respond with "we are looking into it" every time. I do not recommend becoming a host with Airbnb. It would be better to list with another platform who treats their customers with some respect.

    Airbnb doesn't do anything and the host can cancel your booking anytime without any valid reason. Aircover is for the host not for the guest.
