When we moved my aunt out of her house into an extended-care home, we found a paper stock certificate for shares of a bank. In order to sell the shares and put the proceeds into her bank account, I had to contact TSX trust to get a replacement certificate since the stock split a few times. On October 25th, 2022, I sent the notarized affidavit, 3.5% insurance premium and freshly notarized certified true copy of my Power of Attorney. They told me it might take up to 4 weeks. I called them on December 21st and was told someone would call me in two days. No-one called me so I called again on December 27th. Between then and now (January 27, 2023) I called another 10 times between then and now (with many dropped calls and lots of waiting on line for an hour) and found that they mailed the replacement stock certificate without notifying me, and without a tracking number and it is supposedly lost in the mail. Who puts a certificate worth $67,000 in the mail without so much as a tracking number? They used to tell me it would be dealt with in a couple of days, now they just say "these things take time". Now they require me to send a freshly notarized copy of the POA even though I sent them one in October. Still no timeline for when they will get the certificate to us. What a Mickey-Mouse outfit (sorry Mickey). Feb 21st, 2023

I own paper stock certificates for two Canadian banks. In addition to these shares I have some being held in trust. I would like to consolidate these shares into one holding. I was given direction from both banks as to which transfer agents I should contact for assistance. I sent emails to both agents on Dec 29/22. Agent A responded on Dec 30 requesting further details. I provided the details immediately and late in the afternoon of the 30th I was advised that an information package was on its way, the first step in accomplishing my goal. On Jan 3/23 I received a follow up email asking if I needed any assistance with the completion of the document package. All correspondence from agent A was signed by a representative of the firm and included a phone number to call if required. TSX Trust was the other agent. After sending my original email on Dec 29/22 I received a computer generated response advising me that my query was being investigated. On Jan 12/23 I received an actual response to my December 29 email requesting further details. Once again no contact name on the email. I responded within 13 minutes with the required information. It is now Jan 24/23, agent A provided excellent service, an apparently well run business that is prepared to assist customers large or small on any and all matters. I have not received a response from my Jan 12th email that satisfied the request for information. As other reviews have stated TSX Trust is a rather uncaring and anonymous organization. TD Bank should be embarrassed to have their valuable brand associated with TSX Trust. Dec 29th, 2022

I sent the required documents to this operation in June to switch from my late Mother's name to mine. On September 1 someone named Cathy Monteiro wrote a letter because I hadn't submitted a fee because the estate wasn't probated? I received this letter on November 10? The bank draft I was returned looking like someone's dog had chewed on it? I called the number I was given on the forms. This is nothing more than a call center in Toronto? Apparently Cathy Monteiro and her associates don't have telephones? I asked to speak to the President and they don't have a phone either. The supervisor I spoke to claims her supervisor doesn't have a phone either. This has been a very frustrating, unprofessional circus and wonder how Imperial Oil got themselves in to this gong show. So in closing I am being punished because I was advised by my lawyer that it wasn't necessary to probate my late Mother's estate? I doubt very much anything will ever be done about this as it is very obvious that TSX and their employees do not care about shareholders or their families. Nov 1st, 2022
