Specifically checked the website to confirm operating hours prior to going. The main page stated in big bold letters that the market is open until 1pm on December 31st. Spent half an hour driving, paid for parking and was at the door at 12:47pm, only to be told that the market is closed and the vendors are "packing up" and are no longer "allowed to sell"; the vendors were in plain view with merchandise on the tables (not packing) and customers wondering around/paying for purchases. Will be making alternate arrangements directly with the vendor I was coming to see for future purchases. To management: If doors close early to provide vendors with additional time to pack up, please clarify that on your website so people don't waste their time and money on gas/parking, only to be turned away at the door.

Made up of generally 3 sections: fresh produce, artisan processed food, and food court. You can always find something unique in the fresh produce section and always a good selection and not just ten different sellers selling the same stuff. Some food you may find hard to get at your local market, like romanesco, matsutake, tomatillos, etc. Processeed food section is generally okay, great local producers but hard to find something that would stand out as too unique or out of the box. Food court is really big and has a wide variety of unique foods that are generally quite good. Also the view and the hike at the brickwork is excellent! Great to walk off the food you just ate.

fruit, vegetables, eggs, fish, meat, herbs, cheese, delicious sauces, ground crickets, wild mushrooms, and much much more. you can also meet the cutest cat of Toronto, listen to awesome live music, enjoy coffee, food and even have a beer or cider. every Saturday from 8am to 1pm. tons of parking space, also for bicycles - many bike racks all over the place. and if it wasn't enough the market is located in a super scenic place, with nature, trees, ponds, fish, turtles, hummingbirds, frogs, etc, etc. what a great way to start a Saturday.

This place is amazing! Located on Bayview Ave just near the Don River, this market has an atmosphere that is awesome! There's a huge selection of fruits and vegetables! It's a stop and resting place for our electric riding group and we always love coming here. Parking can be a bit tight on the busy day. Stay safe out there my friends and please, be kind to one another!
