Long overdue review on this really nice cosy little farmer's market at Cabbagetown but nonetheless better late than never. I was here in the summer and despite the rain, everyone was in high spirits, greeting me as I was walking past their little tentage. I so see many people who come here to buy stuff and most importantly, bring their own shopping bag in the effort to reduce single use plastic bag usage. What better place to practice this than at a farmer's market. They sell items like local honey, local produce, coffee (beans or brewed), cooked food etc. This farmer's market is pretty small scale but cosy with enough produce being sold and in a sense no great competition. This would lead me to think that whoever planted what they sold did it to the best they can. All in all this is a nice farmer's market to shop for local produce and cooked food which serves the community well.
