Van Harten & Tossell

Dayna helped make my bouquet and nikkah floral barrier for our wedding day (we used the barrier as our sweetheart backdrop). I gave her my inspiration and she and team brought it to life on our wedding day. Their everyday floral arrangements are also lovely. I've purchased them a few times from her store Tulip Varity.

Van Harten and Tossell provided the flowers to our wedding this past weekend, and we absolutely love how everything turned out. They arrived on-time and set up the venue without direction from us which was greatly appreciated. The bouquets and boutineers turned out perfect and we received many complements on the arrangements. Highly recommended for any wedding or other event needs!

We hired Gwyneth and her partner at Van Harten & Tossell to be our wedding florists. We communicated mainly with Gwyneth, she was amazing, so incredibly kind, patient, and inventive. She and her partner were so efficient on the day of, flawlessly setting up the florals at both of our venues downtown! They sourced the most unique and beautiful collection of flowers, and we had so many compliments on our centrepieces and the beautiful installation behind our head table. They even went so far as to help my partner, who is Indigenous, source the four sacred medicines for his boutonnire. I would of course recommend Van Harten & Tossell to anyone looking for a locally owned, female ran florist!

Website says you can go in for store pickup but the entrance is hard to find and they dont answer their phones. What a shame.

I received a flower subscription from my fianc for Van Harten & Tossell, where a bouquet was delivered right to my doorstep every two weeks for 3 months. Their presentation of the flowers and arrangements themselves are so stunning and unique in the best way! I did want to specifically mention that the owners (Dayna and Gwyneth) were so kind from my initial conversation with them to set up the subscription, all the way through to the last delivery. Even when there was a *very small* blip with my last delivery, they were SO responsive and rectified the issue right away, while remaining extremely professional and unbelievably kind to me! I would recommend their Van Harten & Tossell to anyone, as you will not be disappointed! :)
