I had an issue with Allianz and Co-Operative Insurance failing to honor a policy. I reached out OLHI for assistance. I dealt with Naomi. Naomi was professional and most helpful. She tried to assist me - unfortunately my claim did not fall with OLHI jurisdiction but she did refer me to another group that might be able to help. I appreciate Naomi's efforts. Thank you. Bruno

Dealing with a monolithic insurer, getting through to a person who could actually break the logjam of templated responses to nuanced issues, is daunting, and made easier with this assistance.

I was struggling with my insurance company (more of a clown car than an insurance company really) to get my benefits, if you are getting the same treatment I highly recommend contacting both the ombudsman and the ombudsman representatives for your insurer. Doing so will force your insurance company to do what they are supposed to do when given medical evidence, which is approve your claim.
