Where do I start? Well, due to the nature of my business, I have worked with most of the downtown law firms in Edmonton. They were refered to me by a friend and I could not believe the 5/5 reviewes till I had the honor to work with them myself.
I have not found in any of big lawyers firms in Edmonton 10% of the experience and professionalism of Waddle Phillips, especially Otto Phillips. A young lawyer with a better experience and intellectual intelligence than almost all the lawyers in Edmonton, if not Canada.
I moved all my work to him from a multinational law firm that was treating me like a cash cow, that's it. They do not educate or discuss or explain strategies like Otto does. He spends the time to make you feel comfortable with his strategy and encourges you to work WITH him as a team not for him as other lawyers do.
His brainstorming with me on one of my cases has led us to discover a major evidence for my case that turned my case 360 degree. I do not care if we win the case or not as I believe now that we have done our best to show my side of the story, because of his non stop work. In another cas, his quick response to address the defendant communication has saved memy investment in one of my businesses.
He works 11 pm and weekends and Holidays for me when needed. He is always there over the phone or by email when needed. He has no superior ego at all and feels comfortable consulting with other lawyers, mainly his father, Mr. John Kingman Phillips, if needed.
I never met him personally before, as he is based in Tororno but licensed in Alberta too, but I promised him if he is ever in Edmonton, I will cook for him and his family for a week
Thank you, Otto, for all your hard work and dedication. Your father, Mr. John Phillips, should be very proud of you. I wish my son could be as good as you in his field of expertise. God bless you and yours.
