Sam is amazing! She gave us so much advice and support re. holding your baby, feeding times, dad involvement. She really help put together our feeding plan and I wish I could have appointments only with her

I initially at the first appointment i was given a nipple shield as my baby didnt latch well when he was born. It worked really great. However after that the consultants I saw gave mostly inconsistent advice as I struggled with low milk supply & supplemented with formula for 4 months. The only consistent thing they told me was to pump 6-8 times a day. I told them straight up that would be very difficult on top of trying to breastfeed & juggle other things with my infant. They suggested to me when my baby was 4.5 months old to wean him off the shield & it would supposedly stimulate more milk. Worst advice ever as it made my baby not interested in breastfeeding anymore despite him being able to latch fine without it after i weaned him off. I tried pretty much all the natural supplements recommended but nothing worked. I did take a medication for a few months that temporarily increased my supply suggested by both my doctor & them but soon after my supply plummeted. I would suggest going to a private consultant for those struggling eith low milk supply.
