Men's Health Institute

This "institute" is absolute garbage. The receptionist was rude and absolutely useless. She misplaced referrals and documents and got mad at ME about it when I tried to clear things up. The "urologist" there was flippant, arrogant and dismissive and was totally fine with letting me live in agony. His "assistant" interrupted me every time that I spoke. No one cared about me and my plight, and I waited SO long for the appointment. Stay away from them.

I got a referral to them and apparently itll take 6 to 9 months for them to get back to me?? Ridiculous. Referrals dont take that long the receptionist is messed up.

My appointment was for 9:35 am today and was seen by Dr. Keith Jarvi at 10:30 am ... I guess not bad for the opportunity to get advise from the Head of the Urology Division of Mount Sinai Hosptal. My scrotal pain was properly reviewed & diagnosed by the good doctor ... I felt great after his medical assurance of wellness. He even had extra time to discuss my erection and urination issues (which are not part of my original appointment). He is very accomodating, professional and you don't feel rushed. I would like to mention the professionalism and friendliness of one of the staff (Lizbeth). You feel the warmth of her personality. I guess the other receptionist (forgot the name) just have a dominant personality and should lower her tone of voice ... intimidating it seem (as I listen from the waiting area).

I had a very positive experience with the Men's Health Institute, with respect to an initial consultation and follow up appointment. The reception staff and attending physician were courteous, professional and a pleasure to deal with. I met with Dr Jarvi and very much appreciated his demeanor and ability to put me at ease. I would recommend this office to others.

Despite my initial problems over the phone, the doctor and staff were very helpful and efficient.
