Good doctors. Terrible admin. You have to jump through hoops in order to get to a doctor, not because of lack of availability they are just incredibly disorganized. When youre struggling with mental health it should have to be THIS difficult see a doctor. They dont respond to emails. Will call you when you indicated email is better. When you call them back they wont awnser. Then you dont hear from them for two weeks. Its a mess.

I didn't get a good feel for this place. I booked my virtual session 3 weeks in advance for 9 am and it slipped my mind the morning of. My therapist called at exactly 10:02 when the session would be over to remind me I missed it and would need to pay. Why couldn't she or the admin team called after 10-15 min of me being late so I could at least be given a chance? It's virtual, it would take me 2 seconds to log on. I re-booked with the therapist on the phone but once I hung up I was annoyed by how that went because it almost felt like she wanted to do nothing for that whole hour and call me when it was too late. So, I called and left a voice mail to cancel the new appoitment I made and also emailed to cancel. Never got a call back or an email back about the cancellation but did get an email about the payment. I'm sure they will eventually get back about the cancellation but obviously the payment is more important.

I do not feel my OCD was treated responsibly, and I did not feel supported. This experience set me back years in my treatment and I was not met with kindness in response to the emotional turmoil I was dealing with. I was offhandedly told I had bipolar, then BPD, then bipolar, with no follow up or information about the conditions. These suggested diagnoses ended up being completely inaccurate, and what I was really dealing with was autism and trauma. I was not engaged in value driven healing ( ERP and ACT used together are currently gold standard OCD treatments) and was repeatedly discouraged from my academic/professional goals and made to feel like I was not capable due to the severity of my OCD at the time. I was also either denied letters validating my illness for proof to my job/university, or asked to pay ridiculously high fees for documentation. I had a great experience with all the staff and don't believe any of this was malicious on the part of my therapist, but it was over all a damaging, and frankly traumatizing experience for me. I'm glad I didn't give up on treatment after this experience, I wish I had been supported differently.
