Kilcoo Camp

kilcoo camp was a special place for my boys. IF YOU HAVE BOYS, this is the place to sent them. My boys thank me all the time for sendimg them to Kilcoo. Lub is incredible person,always ready to help while the kids are in camp or when they are done. Can not find words to thank you enough. THANK YOU LUB AND THE TEAM AT KILCOO

This camp changed my life. It helped a quiet and shy kid come out of his shell and make life long friends. It also introduced me to new sports that I have dedicated a large part of my time too. Kilcoo allowed me to face several of my fears and over come them numerous times. I was put into situations I never would have been in. I was taught skills that helped me in the every day. I learnt basic skills such as make your bed, clean, organize the cabin, and laundry. And would develop tons of sports skills making me want to train and pursue being an athlete... but also to be comfortable with new and old friend, find independence and strength through tripping, and like they say "get dirty and make mistake:" but have fun and learn from them!!! Camp was a key part of me developing into the person I am today and I recommend it for anyone and highly recommend any parent sending their kids to Kilcoo. It is more important than ever to have camp and give this very educational and WILDLY FUN experience to as many kids as possible because it will make them better people. Thank you Kilcoo.

This is my son's 3rd summer at KILCOO Camp. We love Kilcoo so much that I would give it a 10 star rating if I could! This camp is a magical place that has transformed my son from a teenager with self esteem issues to one who is happy, outgoing and confident. Camp Director "LUB" is an exceptional individual - he has a fun way with a genuine warmth and caring shown towards each and every camper. He has a way of inspiring the boys. My son always talks about him and fondly remembers the first time he met him. He was surprised when three days later Lub saw my son and called him by name! The staff are all extremely outgoing and polite. The leadership that Lub shows is evident in every aspect of this camp. On top of great leadership, counsellors and staff are well trained. They offer a very traditional camp experience to boys, and often incorporate old traditions into camp life. The activities offered are the typical Canadian camp ones - sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, kayaking, high / low ropes course, archery, swimming, woodcraft & arts & crafts. They also offer canoe trips, with the trips becoming more extensive as the boys move up the ranks. Cabins are fairly rustic but comfortable. There is electricity as well as flush toilets. My son loves the food, and on visitor's day all the parents get to experience the great food first hand. Congratulations to the team at KILCOO! You are definitely doing it right!
