Dr. Hansel Huang Eye Care First

Have been a client for a decade - recently reassigned from Dr. Huang to Dr. Britney Hewitt. She, like Dr. Huang, is outstanding, as is Sherry and the rest of their team!

I highly recommend Eye Care First (Dr. Huang) to everyone! I'm a brain injury survivor for 2 yrs now and I've been referred to Dr. Huang from the Windsor Brain Injury Clinic because they had noticed that since the head injury accident my eyes shake (post trauma vision syndrome). I had my appointment with Dr. Huang and wow things that I should've seen (not just talking clarity) I couldn't, plus many other issues. For 2 years I deal with severe pressure pain that I feel daily around my eyes and frontal forehead, the horrible dizzy spells and really bad balance (vertigo). NOW with the help of Dr. Huang and his great staff I can one day (eventually) get better with therapy and special glasses. FINALLY in 2 years I have HOPE!

I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody after the games they played on us. We've seen them with two different family members and both had problems. We already tried talking with you and got nowhere, so we just moved on to a better place. Maybe you should keep better records and not a year later call up the customer and tell them they owe money for glasses they already paid for. It's not common practice to give out the glasses before they are paid for. Not everybody keeps their receipt after a year.

Absolute bad experience. To start he insisted on a second eye exam after the first one was covered through main eyedoctor. After being referred to Dr huang he made us pay for another eye exam and totalling 290 with second ocular exam. Then had us go in for therapy exam before finding out what kind of financial restrictions we had. The so-called therapy worker that would have been tasked with helping my son for 52 weeks was more set on expressing how much more work seperate receipts are. I was pretty much told I could save 1300$ if I didn't make her write multiple receipts for payment plan. After telling me oh it's good savings After I told her I couldn't afford 8000$ right away twice. I work customer service and I have for 8 years. I do the job I am payed to do not cry to my customers that billing is hard work..also if your interested on being out down for an hour straight and made to feel like your not intellectual Dr huang is your man. Also he likes to play with time. I told him calling insurance was a waste of time for me as a parent when they can direct bill Because I talked to him about insurance for what he calls 30 minutes he was 30 minutes late to our next appointment
