Feeling cold all the time and now no hot water in this freezing weather avaliable...same happened a couple of years ago there was no hot water for a full week

Im very disappointed in them ! I signed a lease for my now husband with them in fall 2016 (4th floor), they were VERY aware that it was for HIM ! Five/six year later, we need a proof that we were both using the appartment for his immigration file and they aren't cooperating! No only they claim to not keep files after 5 years but they're saying because he wasn't on the lease they cant write the letter.....its not like im asking to LIE ? I have to contact hydro quebec or videotron for proof that I was leasing from them because they dont have anything after 5 years (very minimal delay in the real estate industry) JUST for them to say that they cant certify that he was staying there even though they did the entire process with HIM and HE was the one paying the rent. Other than that, they did gave us a good service while we were staying there so I wont give them 1 star.
