I had reservations for a while about getting my hair cut, since I had pretty bad experiences with hair stylists/hair dressers that messed with my self esteem. Coming to this place changed my perspective in the right ways. I had my hair cut short (shoutout to Theo for an amazing job, definitely coming back in 2 months) here. The people were very kind and understanding, very reassuring when you have concerns! Also helps that they are queer friendly! Overall, I definitely recommend this salon for a self esteem boost! I have mixed feelings about the hairsalon, the service is definitely better than most I've been to in terms of customer service. I do feel like they take their time with their clients to talk and make sure they're getting what they want. The hairstylists are all nice. However, they added a treatment that was really pricey and another thing that I don't know what it is at all which I didn't ask ever for and only saw at the end on the receipt. Also, despite it being very high in price, the difference was not that visible in my hair (colour wise and cut wise). I definitely expected more effort in the haircut and a bigger difference for the price. Because of that I unfortunately won't go back, although my hair is not ugly at all. But I feel a bit like I got scammed in a way (the term is too harsh, but you know what I mean). If you're a student and want a big change in your hair maybe don't go there.
