Hotel Place Royale by L.I.T

Browsing through the website, reading and looking at the photos I was already impressed but more impressive was upon arriving the stress free, beautiful ambiance, decor, fresh and clean, absolutely as described on their website. Everything you need is right there. Step out and you have beautiful views with an energetic vibe with a variety of restaurants that will for fill any culinary connoisseur. Daniel was an absolute professional, a real pleasure to deal and connect with. Bravo to everyone involved in this beautiful Montreal stay. If you want to enjoy your precious time off, trouble free, look nowhere else. Thank me later.

Nearby activities: The hotel is a short walking distance from many fun activities. We loved the archeological museum and AURA at the basilica (a must-see!) Safety: Due to an incident in a nearby restaurant we were forced to evacuate temporarily. The smoke alarms are functional and incredibly loud! Food & drinks: We loved the nearby Tommy Caf for breakfast and lunch. La Catrina had great cocktails but the tacos were only okay. You have to get a sandwich from Franklins subs and suds!

Had a wonderful stay at Hotel Place Royale for my first time in Montral for a girls weekend. Our flight got in several hours before check-in but Daniel was able to accommodate us and let us check-in early. Note that this is an apartment style hotel with self check-in functions and there is no front desk. You receive the check-in details via email and text the morning of your stay. We stayed in a two bedroom suite, and the rooms were beautifully decorated and cozy. It was roomy and we were able to spread out and have our space during lounging and getting ready moments. I have a few minor suggestions for the hotel to make their next guests stays even more spectacular: include black out blinds for guests who are sensitive to light or like to sleep in, add garbage bins in the bathroom for easy disposal of feminine products or diapers, change the shower drain so it doesnt easily get clogged by soap and long hair, supply hair dryer, iron and ironing board (these are always provided in standard hotels and most airbnbs now), extra pillows, and extra towels (especially for women who need at least two large towels for hair and body). We could have reached out for extra towels but we were in the midst of getting ready and did not want to wait on the towels. I am being meticulous with this review but thats because I did love my stay otherwise and I want the hotel to be successful. Lastly, the location was absolutely perfect for what group was looking to do. It was less than 30 minutes from the Montral airport, and walking distance to the Notre Dame Basilica, and nearby all the bars and restaurants we wanted to go to in Old Montral. On our last day, we had 6 hours to kill between check-out and our flight. Although there is no place to store our luggage at the hotel, we did walk to the nearby Hotel Nelligan and they very kindly stored our bags for $5 each bag with their concierge (I would recommend doing that if youre in the same boat). Overall, we were really happy with our stay and would definitely stay again next time we are in Montral. Thank you!
