The ordering process was a little messy, BUT the food was very flavourful and filling. Good portion size with a good amount of meat, rice & beans, slaw and plantains. The chicken patty was also really good and was huge. Everything was a good deal for your money and youll definitely get a satisfying meal! One of the best Jamaican food places in Montreal! One of the chefs was also smoking their meats outside the store which added to the atmosphere. When I got off the bus, I smelt really good barbecue and as I walked closer to the store, I realised it was Boom Js. Amazing

The food was good enough. However, I have to say I was a bit disappointed. It did not taste like authentic Jamaican food. I got the curried goat, and the potatoes had just been chopped in two. The plantains were also fried crisp. I tried a patty as well in order to decide if I would buy a box of 25 to go, but it was not tasty at all. It was really dry and the filling was...questionable.
