Mango Bay

What a ripoff literally three small shrimp in a roti that was filled with two pounds of stale tasting potatoes. For potatoes to taste stale it has to be at least a week old the first time I ordered I got sick the food is not fresh and the size of the roti is not roti traditional size $$40. For a potato sandwich with stale potatoes is dishonest Trinidadians value fresh curry. When other cultures adopt it and lower the standard for greed it ruins the cultural experience. . and takes the joy out of diversity in the city. A new form of colonization.

The food was delicious! I think they used parboiled rice, and I'm not usually a fan but the taste was superb. The portion was huge like a real cook shop. This restaurant is the real deal where quality, authenticity, and experience are concerned. I was a bit surprised that the prices in the menu were not the same ones reflected on my receipt and there was an item called 'open food' on the receipt that I didn't expect to see. I promised myself that I would call back to query this, but I haven't gotten around to it.
