The studio is extremely clean and the teachers are highly skilled in both Yoga themselves as well as how to instruct students to properly achieve the poses. I feel as if I have made more progress here than I have at other studios as the teachers know how to analyze what's giving you trouble and provide modified postures to help you work towards larger goals.

Josephine is an incredibly knowledgable teacher who is dedicated to sharing many facets of the yoga tradition (not only physical postures). Her teaching style is direct and challenging, while also being warm, humorous, and attentive to the needs of her students; she understands and respects her students capacity and limitations, and aptly adapts the level of challenge for everyone in the room. Josephines precise instructions and passion for the practice have encouraged my commitment to my personal practice both in class and at home, and I so appreciate being a part of the dedicated and friendly community she has created at Institut Yoga Essentiel. For beginners and advanced students alike, I highly recommend her classes.
