Ok. So here's my experience after not being able to set up direct withdrawal or deposit online and then calling to ask them if there was another way. Me: hi, I'm wondering what kind of bagels you have, HSBC: absolutely and thank you for choosing us today, how may I help you? Me:hi thanks. Just wondering about bagels... HSBC: absolutely, and how will you be paying today? Me: umm. Just. The bagels... What kind do you have? HSBC: for sure mr Hayes, I'd love to help you with that, I just need to know how youll be paying today. Me: no, like, I might not be buying anything... HSBC: absolutely, and I'll help you as soon as you confirm your choice of payment. Me: weird... Ok let's say Mastercard... HSBC: wonderful and how can we help you today Me: the bagels.... What do we got? HSBC: we don't serve bagels here

Dealing with HSBC both personally and corporately has been most satisfactory. Communication, Courtesy and Commitment to meet our requirements and needs has been first class!

Great bank, don't believe some of these bad reviews. Something is fishy with those reviews. We have mortgages and accounts with them, they don't sell your information to Trudeau and marketing companies like the other banks do. The only issue is sometimes there is a lineup for the tellers but I never use them unless necessary. They do not harass you monthly for your investments or insurance like ScotiaBank used to do to me. Our mortgage was done quickly in 5 days and we got the lower rate as it dropped after we started the process. Which is awesome! They really helped out and were quick.

Awful service, awful hours, basically everything with HSBC is awful. Avoid.

I am a HSBC customer in other countries but was hesitant due to some bad reviews here. But I had a wonderful experience with HSBC Saskatoon and Catherine was able to assist me with all my banking queries and requirements.
