Next time we will chose a more professional and reputable company. In September Lane Mechanical installed an air conditioning unit that was used for one day in the fall, and broken by first use in the spring. The part itself was under warranty, but they charged us $900 for labour to replace it. When we asked for an explanation, the owner said because the failure happened over the winter, it technically wasn't the "same season" and therefore labour was not included. This is acting in bad faith given that it was brand new and barely used. The owner blames poor manufacturing of the part and says this is just what happens now. They also included time for driving to pick up the part and filling out the warranty forms for the part in the labour costs, which ended up being 10 hours. Do not recommend.

He attempted to repair our furnace but clearly did not know what he was doing. Another plumber had to fix his errors. He charges twice as much as the other plumber. He installed an air conditioner and it is not working. Subsequent calls he did not return and when we finally reached him he said to "get someone else to do it." The brand new AC has yet to be used since he installed it and it doesn't work. Don't hire him. There are better plumbers out there who know their work and charge less and have a professional attitude. Don't mind paying the money if he knew what he was doing. But to pay so much and still not have a proper job done is shameful.

Good ol fashioned plumber, assessed the issue quickly, fixed it and was done and gone. Great service!
