Lakepointe Apartments

We rented one of the suites here back in Aug 2022 . I asked if they had an mice issues before moving in and they said no not this building well it ended up having mice . We ended up getting out of the year long lease because of it. We were told that wed get all of the damage deposit back as we only lived there a few months and we left the place spotless . To this day I havent received it . Its been almost 2 months . According to RTB , they were to return my deposit to me within 2 weeks . Ive messaged them many times and they just keep on making excuses . Very bad management .

Good place to live. Friendly staff and they attend to issues quickly. Only issue I had was the windows- in the winter it was freezing because of the cold draft and theres only 1 washer and 1 dryer in each building. Other than that we enjoyed our time there.

Terrible place to rent from. Charged me $2000 for damages after I moved out from a year 3.5 year lease. Apartment was already in major need of remodeling before hand and blamed everything on me. Units haven't been touched since they were first built so are extremely dated (1970s). Due to the dated construction you pay an absolute insane amount in gas in the winter because the windows let in such a strong draft your furnace has to go off every 5 minutes. Maintenance and the like is awful to get a hold of to fix stuff wrong with your unit agency goes above rtb rental increase guide lines every single year to top it all off. Would not recommend loving here at all. Staff is very shady and rude, will threaten to throw you out for the smallest things.
