    It seems that Charles may lack proper customer service training. During my recent (April 18, 2023) visit to the bank, I requested a printout of the gap period on my bank statement for 2021. However, instead of providing me with the correct information, he printed out the statement for 2022. Furthermore, he did not inquire if this was what I was looking for, but instead simply stated that it was all the information available in my account. This experience highlights the need for improved customer service training to ensure that customers' needs are met accurately and efficiently.

    Bad service. Bad products. Switched to a different bank after 30 years of being a bank of Montreal customer. Wish i had never started banking with them.

    Worst place to work for and be a client of. They honestly dont care about anything beyond revenue targets. Clients are not treated well and neither are honest employees who want to make the process better. Horrid.

    Very unprofessional, and bordering on outright incompetent if not negligent. As executor of a friends estate, I set up an appointment over 4 months ago to initiate the setup of an Estate bank account. I provided all of the documents requested, and they ostensibly started the process. I would check in with my contact from time to time to see what progress was. I was continually given the runaround, with responses like it shouldnt be too much longer or its all done in Toronto, so I cant really do much and other such excuses. My last email to them, my contact sent a reply saying she was no longer in that role, and I would have to contact someone else! I did so, and that person said, and I kid you not: so, it looks like were going to have to set up an estate account for you. No kidding! Thats exactly what I started doing over four months ago. So either the person who I was dealing with at BMO was lying to me the entire time, or she and BMO in general are entirely incompetent and incapable of actually setting up an estate account. This is a routine, simple thing to do. Every other bank does it seamlessly. These people have no idea what theyre doing. Find another bank, is my suggestion.
