While I dont have a specific issue with Dr Garber, I feel the need to share my extremely off putting experience over the past year, leading up to and post surgery with his receptionist Adriahna. To start, she never answers the phone, nor does she return voicemails in a timely manner. Her voicemail says to not leave a 2nd message and to give her 48-72 hours to return your call. Throughout my experience over the last year it has taken her approximately 3 weeks each time to return my voicemails. When she finally does return calls, she has a bad attitude, is always rude and has been dishonest with me on several occasions! From day one of being referred to Dr Garber by another Dr in this office, I have had nothing but issues communicating with Adriahna. She does not seem to be capable of completing simple tasks and has an excuse for everything! Whether it be she was on vacation or the office didnt have stamps to mail requested documents or 'the phone lines don't work' If I were made aware of the type of person I would be dealing with prior to seeing this doctor, I would have requested to be referred to someone else. I discussed the communication issues with Dr Garber and he let me know that he would be having a conversation and admitted that they dropped the ball on scheduling my surgery. At that point I felt better that he understood the problem and he told me to call his assistant at HSC to schedule my surgery date, which I did. Moving forward, nothing changed with Adriahna, besides her doing even less of her job and having a worse attitude with me. Post surgery I was told to call the Drs office on Monday to schedule an appointment to have my staples removed. Adriahna did not answer the phone, nor return my calls for 17 days! Again, I had to schedule my post op appointment through HSC and when I arrived at the office for my appointment, Adriahna told me that I did not have one scheduled. (she also told this to the next patient who came in) There is very clearly a problem here that needs to be rectified. Patients should not have to jump through hoops for simple things like scheduling appointments. Nor should any patient be treated so rudely by a receptionist. This girl should not have any control over patients appointments especially when it comes to booking surgeries as she is either untrained, incompetent or both. Ultimately this reflects poorly on the Dr. Patients care should be number 1 and a moody, inept receptionist should not affect this.

Sharon and Dr. Chan are amazing! My son, my mother and my husband all see Dr. Chan. She is a fantastic doctor. I highly recommend her. Sharon, Dr. Chan's assistant is amazing. They make a great team. Thank you to both of you for taking such good care of my family.

Called Dr Garber's office to book for a patient as i am a receptionist at a clinic. I left 4 messages over a week and NEVER heard back. Very unacceptable!
