    It has been a year. I visited the gravesite of my parents in August 2021. I brought to their attention the damages and photos of my parents marker. The scarring and missing nameplate. At that time I was assured that they would replace it but given the time of year with winter approaching it wouldnt be completed until spring. Fair enough. I revisited the site late July and it still hadnt been done. Leaving again my information with reception and being assured he Mr Gibbons on holidays would be emailed. Assuming he was, I should point out he responded to other concerns of clientele thruout his holiday, I heard nothing. August 9th when Mr Gibbons returned from holiday I received this mail. Not wholly comfortable I followed as he really didnt address a timeline nor was I interested in time delay excuses. A year? I dont believe they even ordered the marker. All that would have taken was to pick up the phone order it for a delivery date. Pretty easy. SCI (Wikipedia)with a total net income of 803 million cant fix their problem. I waited a week in hopes of a follow up. Nothing. Aug 16 I mailed Mr Gibbons back again hoping to clarify what he meant by next few weeks. Asking also if he had visited the site and ordered the replacement. Again nothing. I regret the necessity of writing this review however I may find it the only way to get the answers I requested. Hello Mr. Reid, I understand you checked in at Green Acres recently to see the progress of the memorial marker replacement. Im sorry we havent been able to have that completed in the timeframe we had initially hoped for. Unfortunately, we have experienced unexpected staffing changes and that has delayed our progress on many of our service requests. As you might expect, your request is not the only one that we need to tackle, in addition to regular funeral services and merchandise requests, and being in a position to hire and train in this area has not left us in a favourable position to be as timely as we hope. We are currently working on the replacement marker for Mr. and Mrs. Reid and should be able to have that in place in the next few weeks.
