The doctors are very passive & don't really look into your health issues you come to them with. After informing them I did not have a family doctor (at that time), therefore I haven't been to a doctor for a physical in a while. I was wanting to get an entire requisition for bloodwork cause I had been feeling so lethargic lately & informed them I also had issues about my weight & how I wanted to get in control of my . The doctor put his hand up & said, "no! Only one issue per visit." I was pretty shocked because this was all within the same scope of one issue, gaining my control of my weight to feel & become healthier. So I wanted an overall physical, inclusive of blood work to check on my health together. Anyway, I only got a requisition to check iron & cholesterol-- I'm 30 years old, I know my body at this point & could tell there's something going on. Sine that appt at White Cross, I gained about 20lbs+ & feel lethargic CONSTANTLY! I've been walking extra, drinking less soda & coffee & staying hydrated with water over any other beverage (which is HUGE change). So now that I have finally found a family doctor & just had my first appt 2 wks ago; I've been referred to a specialist because sure enough, I'm at the pre diabetic stage where I may be able to gain control of it before it happens. But that's not guaranteed. My insulin levels are being effected & had it been checked & seen earlier, I could've started sooner, given better odds to avoid the diagnosis. Any other time I've been there prior, for smaller issues that were more direct. Like, "it hurts here when I do this." Or, "this is what's happening & where it bothers me." Etc. I always, ALWAYS felt like I wasn't being heard thorughly, given a prescription & not even slightly informed about my concern nor what Id been given a prescription for. The pharmacist had to answer questions the doctor should have a time or two. I only went back because of the convenience & my inability to be able to go elsewhere when in need of a walk-in. Anyway, thanks for nothing & I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT recommend this place. If you live in the area, go to 88 Sherbrook instead, they have a walk in there, just call ahead. More attentive than this place.

Now they don't even allow anyone into the building if you have a cold. What a waste of my valuable time. I usually come here but I guess I won't be any more. Currently at another walk in on Sargent and she let me come in and wait and they're not open until 930 but keeping warm at 916.
